Method

The method mix is your new secret weapon! This mix is specially formulated for use with method feeder, a highly effective fishing technique that is particularly popular for catching carp. Thanks to its consistency, themethod mix remains compact during casting and disperses quickly once it reaches the bottom of the water, creating an attractive cloud that keeps carp concentrated in a specific spot.

But it is not just a simple attractant: the method mix contains high-quality feed, appetite enhancers, supplements and vitamins. In this way, carp stay in the bait for longer without getting full.

WHEN TO USE METHOD MIX?

Environmental conditions play a crucial role in determining the success of method mix fishing. Every factor, from water temperature to weather conditions, can influence the behaviour of fish and their propensity to bite the bait.

Water temperature
Water temperature is one of the most influential factors during a fishing session:

  • Cold water. When the water temperature is low, the fish are less active and tend to feed less: it is advisable to use a fine-grained method, which can offer sufficient attraction and nutrients, but without overfilling the fish.
  • Warm water. When the water is warmer, the fish are more active and feed more. Under these conditions it is best to use coarse-grained methods, which provide more food.

Weather Conditions

Weather conditions significantly influence fish behaviour and, consequently, fishing success. On sunny days, fish tend to be more active and feed more frequently: in such cases, the use of sweet mixes can be particularly effective. Sweet mixes, thanks to their aromas and flavours, are able to attract fish that are already looking for food, increasing their chances of being caught.

In contrast, inovercast or cloudy conditions, fish may be less active and more difficult to attract: spicy mixes tend to work better in these situations. The spices in these mixes release strong, penetrating aromas, which can stimulate the appetite of fish even when they are less likely to feed. In addition, spicy mixes may be more visible and attractive in murky waters, which are very common during cloudy or rainy days.

THE METHOD MIX IN FISHING

  1. Preparation of the mixture. The mixture must be prepared by adding water so that it is moist enough to remain compact in the Method Feeder, but also crumbly enough to disperse quickly once in the water.
  2. Loading the feeder.Once prepared, the mixture is pressed into the Method feeder together with the bait. This ensures that the bait is positioned in the centre of the feeding area.
  3. Launching. The Method Feeder is launched at the desired spot in the lake or river: the compactness of the mixture ensures that it remains intact during the launch.
  4. Deposition and dispersal. When the feeder reaches the bottom, the mixture begins to disperse, creating a feeding area that attracts fish. The bait, positioned in the middle, increases the chances of catching fish.
  5. Monitoring and reloading. It is important to check the feeder regularly and reload if necessary to keep the feeding area active and attractive to fish.
