With a protein load of 46 percent, soybean meal has the distinction of being one of the most protein-rich vegetable flours ever. Essential in rationing the feed dose for animal husbandry, soybean meal after grinding, to increase its biological characteristics, is roasted, so that losing water results in a higher relative concentration of crude protein. Rich in amino acids, vitamins and carbon hydrates, è very energetic but weakly binding. Slightly bitter likes fish quite a lot, it keeps very well for up to a year in a dry place.
